Hi! I'm Cristin Lantz, owner of Redfield Quilt Shop. I am a part time Medical Laboratory Scientist, and a part time quilt shop owner! My husband, Dustin, and I live in Redfield, Iowa with our two kids, Isaac and Lily.
Dustin and I bought a building that used to be a Jehovah's Witness Hall in 2018. In 2022, we turned it into a quilt shop and in November 2022, Redfield Quilt Shop was born!
At Redfield Quilt Shop, you will find high quality, fun and bright quilting fabrics, especially batiks, as they are my absolute favorite! I also sell a variety of quilting patterns and notions.
Part of being in a small town, I wanted to offer items for sale that you don't have to be a quilter to purchase. So you will also find items such as books, puzzles, completed quilts, and gift items made by local artists.
Redfield Quilt Shop also has an 8-person classroom with four 8-foot tables, rolling chairs, cutting table, ironing table and three design walls.
When classes are not being held in the classroom, the room is available for single day Open Sew or multiple day Build Your Own Retreat.
In the summer of 2024, I purchased an APQS Lucey and began offering longarm quilting services to customers.
Other services offered through Redfield Quilt Shop include sewing machine cleaning and repair, as well as simple alterations.
In the summer of 2025, I became a product placement BERNINA store, so you can try sewing machines here!
